hangin w/ bek

I went to NJ this weekend - quite spontaneously in fact. It was good to spend time w/ Bek - I even had some good quiet time to myself w/ God - that was awesome. It was good having the chance to chill w/ her and Kim. Their place is looking good. I can't wait to see the curtains up. We saw The New World - good movie - long -but well made - beautiful. I made really good time coming home tonight too which was cool. Thank you God for times of refreshment!

chillin like a villain

I'm so thankful for having today off - sigh - I've been able to sleep in, take mom out to lunch, watch the Scarlet Pimpernel, and chill w/ God. :) It is nice not to be on the go for once. This weekend was pretty good and busy. Met a fun German girl and showed her around the city in the rain (we were pretty wet by the end). I shopped in stores I never ever darken the door of. I went to a baby shower and drove in the snow a few times. I went to an ordination last night of my college/beyond leader - it was a really neat time. It continued to help me seek after my Father as far as what his will is for me at this moment in time. Father may my life be a light of love in the lives of all - may you be seen in me each day!

Life is an adventure - what's next? :)

Got off work early tonight - hurray!! So glad - I get a few extra hours to do other things. God is good - esp. since I didn't really have the best attitude going to work tonight - esp. since it was gross out. God is good - even when I am not at my greatest. Thank you Jesus!

fun with books

Had so much fun sorting through my random books today - I got them at barnes and nobles - the store which will soon be doomed to go away. I soon will begin weeding through money stuff - blehh - not my favorite thing. That will take me a while me thinks - i really want to get life organized though. Slow and steady wins the race i guess! That's all for now....

Well, I wake up from a lovely nap and found a fun blog of the potters, but if i wanted to comment I figured I might as well sign up to yet another blog (not that I don't have enough already). It has been a nice lazy day -haven't had that in a while. Praise the Lord for a little rest - next weekend won't really be like that. I will take what I can get. Lots of figuring to do in my life in the coming weeks - gotta take it one step at a time!!
